- 4 (?) c fresh spinach
- 1 c (?) fresh basil
- 2-4 T olive oil
- 1/4 c pine nuts
- 1 T lemon juice
- 1/4 c grated parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/4 c water
- 1 t (or more) salt
Put everything but the pine nuts in the blender and blend until a sauce-like consistency (add more water if needed). Heat through. Mix in toasted pine nuts. Serve over pasta.
